Why we built this
Freelancers and independent professionals get a raw deal when it comes to legal resources. Law firms don't serve them. Subscription contract tools charge $30+ per month for features a solo freelancer will never use. Free templates online are either behind email sign-up walls, out of date, or so poorly written they create more problems than they solve.
ContractDraft is our answer to that gap. We write clean, professional templates — organized by profession, available in DOCX, PDF and Google Docs, and kept up to date — and we give them away for free.
We earn revenue through Google AdSense and affiliate partnerships with tools like Bonsai that we genuinely think are useful. This keeps the templates free for everyone.
We're not a law firm, and our templates aren't legal advice. For complex or high-value contracts, you should always have an attorney review the final document. But for the everyday contracts that freelancers need — service agreements, NDAs, photography contracts — ContractDraft has you covered.
